I find that dryer sheets are expensive so I found a way to save on dryer sheets (Bounce): 
For regular loads of laundry, simply cut your dryer sheets in half.  I have been doing this for a few years now and there is no difference in the softness or level of static electricity of my clothes.  On large loads such as sheets and blankets, I still use a full sheet.  If you can find the dryer sheets on sale then you are really getting a deal!
